Heat Resistant Alloys
800H/800T (UNS N08810/N08811), comparable to Incoloy 800H Alloy
This 800H alloy is an iron-chromium-nickel blend that provides superior strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Its exceptional creep strength is achieved through careful heat treatment and a precise balance of carbon, titanium, and aluminum. UNS N08810 and UNS N08811 are key components for a range of industrial applications.
Provide forms as following,
Workability
800H/800T stainless steel is an ideal material for both hot and cold working applications. Hot working should occur between 1000 and 1230 ℃, with light work possible at 850 ℃. To prevent cracking, temperatures between 650 and 800 ℃ must be avoided. For cold working, the hardened strength is similar to austenitic stainless steels, but with slightly lower work hardening.
Weldability
800H/800T is an austenitic stainless steel, weldable with common industrial methods like TIG, MIG, and shield metal arc welding. AWS-certified ERNiCr-3/ENiCrFe-2 rods provide optimal results for welding with this steel alloy.
Heat Treatment
The 800H/800T range of products offers remarkable similarities to austenitic stainless steels, making them ideal for a variety of heat treatment procedures. The 800H/800T combination boasts an austenite structure and a range of heat treatment requirements similar to those encountered in stainless steels.
Properties at High Temperatures
800H/800T is a high-temperature alloy composed of nickel and chromium, delivering superior oxidation and carburization resistance at temperatures exceeding 600℃. Heat-resistant and offering notably high strength, 800H/800T is an ideal solution for applications requiring superior creep properties.
Corrosion Resistance
High-strength and temperature resistant 800H/800T alloys offer exceptional corrosion resistance in oxidizing and molten salt environments, surpassing standard austenitic stainless steels for stress corrosion cracking resistance. All in all, an ideal material for highly demanding chemical and thermal conditions.
Applications
The 800H/800T are perfect for applications in challenging high-temperature environments, such as chemical plants and heat treatment furnaces. The heat-resistant alloy is reliable, with a proven track record in many industries.
