Carbon (C): 0.75% to 0.84% (main component, ensuring high hardness and wear resistance).

Silicon (Si): ≤ 0.35%

manganese (Mn): ≤ 0.40% (strengthening material properties)

Sulfur (S): ≤ 0.020%

phosphorus (P): ≤ 0.030% (control impurity content to reduce brittleness)

Residual elements: chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), copper (Cu) total content ≤ 0.40% (trace addition enhances specific properties)

 

Physical Property

Density: Approximately 7.85 g/cm ³.

Melting point: 725-800 ° C.

Heat treatment performance:Annealing hardness: ≤ 187HB.

Quenching hardness: ≥ 62HRC (after water cooling or spray quenching)

 

Mechanical Property

Tensile strength: 800-1200 MPa.

Yield strength: 700-900 MPa.

Elongation rate: 5% to 12% (annealed state).

 

Main PurposeTool Manufacturing:

Suitable for tools with light load and high hardness requirements, such as cold heading dies, punches, woodworking tools, drawing dies, etc.

Special application: Truck compartment bolt molds can be made using the inner hole water spray quenching process to improve surface fatigue resistance.

Limitations: Due to low thermal hardening and poor hardenability, it is not suitable for high temperature or complex stress environments.This steel material balances hardness, wear resistance, and processing feasibility through strict control of chemical composition and heat treatment processes, and is widely used in the fields of mechanical processing and molds.
