Non-Magnetic Screw Drill

A Must for Directional Wells – Non-Magnetic Screw DrillA screw drill, also known as a downhole motor, is a positive displacement power conversion device that converts the pressure energy of a fluid into mechanical energy. It mainly consists of three parts: a screw motor (stator and rotor) assembly, a universal joint assembly, and a drive shaft assembly. When drilling with a screw drill, there is no need for the drill pipe to rotate. The mud pump outputs flushing fluid into the screw motor, creating a constant pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the motor, which drives the motor rotor to rotate. The rotation speed and torque are transmitted to the drill bit through the universal joint and drive shaft, thereby achieving the purpose of rock breaking.
