Brève introduction
Il s'agit d'un acier inoxydable austénitique à haute teneur en manganèse avec une composition 17Cr-17Mn-7.3Ni. Doté d'une maniabilité améliorée, il a été développé en ramollissant l'acier inoxydable austénitique non magnétique conventionnel. Il peut être fourni sous forme de plaques, de feuilles et de bandes.
It provides corrosion resistance equal to standard austenitic stainlesssteel Type 304. Corrosion resistance is virtually unchanged even after heavy coldworking.
The hot and cold workability is basically the same as that of standardaustenitic stainless steels such as Type 304, Type 316, etc. However, thefact that this is a high strength material must be considered in both cold and hotworking.
