Breve introduzione

È un acciaio inossidabile austenitico ad alto contenuto di manganese con una composizione 17Cr-17Mn-7.3Ni. Caratterizzato da una migliore lavorabilità, è stato sviluppato ammorbidendo il tradizionale acciaio inossidabile austenitico non magnetico. Può essere fornito in forme di lastre, fogli e nastri.

It provides corrosion resistance equal to standard austenitic stainlesssteel Type 304. Corrosion resistance is virtually unchanged even after heavy coldworking.

The hot and cold workability is basically the same as that of standardaustenitic stainless steels such as Type 304, Type 316, etc. However, thefact that this is a high strength material must be considered in both cold and hotworking.
